Screenings & Events

The premiere screening will be on 3pm Sunday 21 July at Dendy Newtown. Get your tickets here! And I'm excited to announce that it will have a post-screening Q&A session hosted by Jay Ooi, creator and producer of the critically acclaimed Shoes Off podcast! It was actually one of his podcast episodes which inspired the story for the script in the first place 3.5 years ago. And Jay was one of the first people I showed the first draft of the script to. I'm incredibly grateful for his encouragement. Join our mailing list or follow our socials (at the bottom of the page) for updates on screenings and latest developments!

I would like this film to reach Chinese and other Asian diaspora communities as much as possible, so please get in touch if you want to organise a community, educational or workplace screening. After more than 5 years of driving awareness-raising efforts at my last job, I found the workplace a great context to engage 1st gen migrant workmates who might not otherwise engage with the subject matter. 50% of screening license fee is to be donated to a charity that support LGBTQ+ youth. For those in Australia, suggested charities are Wear It Purple, Minus 18, Twenty10 and ACON. Suggestions for other charities are most welcomed, especially for other regions. But please get in touch first so that we can do a little resesarch into the charity.
